Shoppi and Lightspeed Retail, for two shops and a website
One Shoppi account runs your shops and your website. Each location has your own Stripe account under Stripe Connect, with payouts straight to your bank account. On Business, your website runs on your own domain, with an isolated database and standard HTML pages you can copy. The same account lists your products on the Shoppi marketplace, and you can apply for Wholesale. Below, how that compares with Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) on capabilities.

The short version
Here is where each one is ahead.
Where Lightspeed is ahead
Plus adds custom user roles and API access. Shoppi has fixed staff roles, no report across locations, no stock transfers, and no receipt printers or cash drawers.
What stays yours on Shoppi
Each location has your own Stripe account under Stripe Connect, opened during setup, and payouts go straight to your bank account. Your website runs on your own domain on Business, with an isolated database per store. Your pages are standard HTML on your own WebDAV drive, so you can copy them anytime.

Moving from Lightspeed
There is no direct Lightspeed importer. You bring your catalog in one of two ways.
Do it yourself, on any plan
Import a CSV file. Each product comes in with name, price, quantity, SKU, one photo and description. Variants, categories and extra photos do not come across, so plan time to add them.
Have it done for you
Concierge setup, $249 one-time, or the Smart Data Importer, $199 one-time on Business. You send us your catalog, and the import is done for you.
